We encourage you to make sure your solution interfaces with other important applications at the charity. These may include custom applications, databases or Web services. You will submit your entry via the official PowerPoint template.

When the entry period ends on October 1, the Community Judging Board will review all submitted entry forms and PowerPoint presentations. On October 16, we'll announce 20 semifinalists.

If you're a semifinalist, you'll present your solution design to our judges in a live one-on-one web cast. Soon after, we'll select 11 finalists and post the chosen designs on this site. Toward the end of the year, we'll name the grand prize, 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place winners.

Whether you win or not, we encourage you to put your solution design to good use. After all, helping charities is the driving force behind this competition!
